About the City of Bartlett

“Big city opportunities, hometown pride” is the motto of the city of Bartlett. Not as big as the city of Memphis, but not as rural as the city of Arlington, this well-established city can be viewed as the perfect in between.

When we asked Bartlett residents what connected them to their hometown, the three things that rose to the forefront were: the history and charm, community pride, and being family-oriented.

Although Bartlett is consistently growing and modernizing, it holds a lot of history.

Bartlett, originally called “Union Depot”, first served as the last major Tennessean depot along the westward stagecoach route from Nashville. Now home to much more than a stagecoach route, many agree, it’s a great place to raise a family.

The community offers a variety of charming lakes & ponds, parks, bike trails and recreational fields for youth sports.

The well-established community of Bartlett is also home to a variety of quaint shops and dining. From breakfast spots to lunch and dinner, Bartlett residents have plenty of ways to eat local. The city of Bartlett is also home to a variety of places to shop!

One Bartlett local prides, “There is also no shortage of places to eat or shop in Bartlett. From large retail to small, there is something for everyone and a variety of restaurants from Mexican, Asian, BBQ and other dining options”.

We certainly agree!
