If you’re not feeling the arts, take a visit to Bass Pro Shops at the Pyramid. Go buy some more outdoor gear and then take the elevator to the top of the pyramid, have a nice dinner, and enjoy a view of the beautiful Hernando de Soto bridge and downtown Memphis.

Last but not least, for our Sports fanatics, Downtown Memphis is home to our Minor League Baseball Team, the Memphis Red Birds and of course the National Basketball Association’s Memphis Grizzlies. If you are in the mood for a baseball game on a nice Memphis day, walk over to Autozone Park and enjoy a Red Birds game or a game from our Division II professional soccer team 901 FC!

Downtown Memphis serves as a hub to a dynamic and thriving medical district that includes: The University of Memphis Health Science Center, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, and LeBonheur Children’s Hospital, among others.

While serving as a place where you can seek care, the UTHSC also serves as a university that includes a: College of dentistry, graduate health sciences, health professions, medicine, nursing, and pharmacy. This well-renowned university holds a 97% graduation rate.

You may have heard of the strong mission of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, but when you move to Downtown Memphis you will feel how special it is to us. St. Jude has helped so many children and families and has served as an initiator for teamwork and community building within the city of Memphis.

LeBonheur Children’s Hospital, like St. Jude, has also helped many children and families. This hospital puts children and families first, while also serving as a hospital where children can receive top-tier care.

You’ll find many medical professionals and students not only attending work and school but also doing life here.
