“Farms, Flowers, and Friendship”, how else would you describe the vibrant and developing community of Cordova, TN. Cordova is the perfect spot for someone seeking a place to enjoy nature and community, while maintaining close proximity to neighboring suburbs and the city of Memphis.

When we asked Cordova residents how they would describe their community, the three things that were distinct to them were: Greenery in the city, Shopping and Retail, and Affordability.

From roots grounded in farming, Cordova was known as a “farming village east of Memphis” during its establishment in 1835. Hence, evoking the community’s identity of “Farms, Flowers, and Fellowship”. Today, Cordova still holds true to its identity through some of its main “green” areas, such as Shelby Farms and the Agricenter.

Shelby Farms offers a variety of green space, lakes, walking and running trails, a playground and so much more while the Agricenter is home to many events and a seasonal Farmer’s Markets on Saturdays.

If you’re a person who enjoys spending time outdoors with a variety of outdoor activities, the community of Cordova is the perfect place for you.

When you ask someone in Cordova how they would describe their community, they may refer to it as the area where they do life – a place where they do most of their shopping and a gathering place to meet with friends.
