When we asked Arlington residents why they loved living in the town of Arlington, the answers were clear: A small, Southern town feel, great public schools and beautiful new construction homes.
While Arlington is quickly growing with several new developments, both residential and commercial, residents love that it still has the Southern Charm of a small town. The town square holds history and local businesses with roots in the area for years. And on any given Saturday, you’ll find teams playing at sports complexes, families at parks or residents on one of the many walking trails. Plus, it’s still close enough to the city with rural space that people love.
One local boasts, “It’s (Arlington) convenient enough to the more populated areas of Memphis that commuters still find it a desirable location to raise families and put down roots. It’s remote enough that it offers the feel of small-town living”. We couldn’t agree more!
With one of highest test-taking and graduation rates in Tennessee, residents care about their students and education. Arlington Community Schools (ACS) are some of the best school in the city with 2 elementary schools, Arlington Elementary and Donelson Elementary, and Arlington Middle School and High School.
